“Hidden Identity” is an account of what is not seen at first glance — but which, in silence, in depth, and in the unseen layers of being, is always flowing.
In this painting a world of colour, pattern and life is in motion. The patterns are not decoration; each one has a language of its own. In the reds lies the trace of passion, of suffering, of having lived — the story of a heart that beat, burned, and came back to life. In the blues a deep calm runs: the silence that comes after the storm, or before another birth.
The flowers and motifs recall those instants when beauty found its way even through complexity. And the winding lines are the endless turning of time — the repetition of being, of getting lost, and of finding oneself again.
Absorbed in contemplation, she stands between the two: a bridge between past and present. A silent body behind her, and a living world ahead. Not entirely separate, and not entirely one. As though on the threshold of passage — the moment a person crosses the surface and reaches the depth.
And in the heart of that crossing there is a light. Not outside, but somewhere between these two worlds.
Salute to the light
